This policy explains what Melt Daily (meltdaily.com) collects about you, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information for money.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, shipping and billing address, what you bought, and your membership plan.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Emails you give us: for offers, restock alerts or the waitlist.
- How you use the site: pages viewed, how far you scroll, buttons clicked, quiz answers, and which plan you pick, tied to a random visitor ID stored in your browser.
- How you found us: the ad, link or campaign that brought you here (for example UTM tags and ad click IDs), your device type, and your approximate country.
- Messages you send us by email.
Why we use it
- To take payment, ship your orders, and run your membership.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds.
- To send order and membership emails, and marketing emails if you signed up (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- To understand which ads, pages and offers work, and improve the site.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
- Stripe to process payments and memberships.
- Our fulfillment partner (Supliful) to pack and ship your order, which needs your name and address.
- Shipping carriers to deliver it.
- Service providers that host the site and store our data (Vercel, Supabase) and send email.
- Advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, if we use their measurement tools, which may use cookies or similar technology to measure ads and show you ads. Under some state laws this can count as "sharing" for targeted advertising. See your choices below.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
Cookies and browser storage
We store a random visitor ID and your first-visit details in your browser so we can count visits and know whether you've already seen our offer. Advertising tools we use may set their own cookies. You can clear or block these in your browser settings; the store still works.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including Texas, California and other states with privacy laws), you can ask to see, correct, download or delete the personal information we hold about you, and opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of your information for it. Email [email protected] with your request. We'll verify it's you and respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually 7 years. Visit and analytics data is kept up to 26 months. We delete marketing emails when you unsubscribe and ask us to.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee it.
Children
Melt Daily is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. Big changes will be emailed to members.
